Cold-pressed oils are natural extracts obtained through a wooden press without the use of any chemicals in the process.
The cost of cold-pressed oils, such as groundnut oil, can be relatively high because it takes a substantial amount of raw material to produce a small quantity of oil. For example, it can take around 2.8 kilograms of groundnuts to produce just 1 liter of groundnut oil. Conventional oils undergo hydrogenation and chemical treatment to extend shelf life and increase yield. In contrast, cold-pressed oils are unfiltered and undergo minimal processing, resulting in a shorter shelf life but superior quality. Hence, cold-pressed oils are priced higher than regular oils.

Food workers are required to adhere to strict hygiene practices, including the use of appropriate protective clothing. To preserve the quality of our oils, we use food-grade steel cans for storage which are cleaned regularly, which helps prevent contamination and maintain freshness.
